Artistic Talent IS Inherited...
I started drawing at an early age and almost ALWAYS had my crayons nearby. As I continued through grade school and eventually high school My drawing and painting skills improved greatly. My high school art teacher recommended I pursue it in college.Instead I went to work to help my single parent mom raise my self and 2 younger siblings. I entered the military at 21 back in 1981. Four years later I found myself back home and working a 9 to 5 and I started 'creating art' again. Within a couple years I found myself painting on clothing and entered a few 'craft shows' that were all the rage back in the late 80's and early 90's. After getting articles written in several local newspapers I picked up my first airbrush.
Within a couple years, I took a job out of state to do airbrushing full time at a T-Shirt shop in a Chicago Suburban Mall (talk about jumping in head first). after 3 successful years there I opened my own art/graphics shop. There I offered anything painted and ended up doing everything from sign painting (yes we used to PAINT them not cut vinyl for them LOL) and eventually custom motorcycle painting. Over the years I have painted award winning motorcycles, monster trucks that have been featured on TV, and a couple of custom paintings for Wynona Judd and Paula Abdul.
To this day I am a self-taught artist and have work diligently and enthusiastically to hone my craft and add different techniques into the mix. I recently started adding abstract art into my portfolio as well as 'multi piece' creations. Over the years I also have taught art workshops and ongoing classes over the years too. I still do custom work including pet and people portraits but prefer to design custom mixedmedia pieces specifically made to accent your home or office decor.

About Me:I have been drawing and painting since the age of 5 when I got my first box of 64 crayola crayons. I was shortly thereafter given paper to discourage me from drawing on the walls. For over 45 years now I have been experimenting in one form of art or another. I now create acrylic and mixed media fine art in both realism and abstract forms which tends to satisfy my craving to both my analytic and creative sides of the brain. Over the years I have received numerous awards and have been featured in several publications dating back to the late 80's. You can purchase my artwork on a variety of surfaces and find me on most all of the popular art websites.
